The Canadian job market continues to boom, adding 150,000 jobs in January, with full-time roles accounting for 121,000.

Despite the layoffs, IT professionals are in high demand.

In February 2022, Canada added 337,000 jobs to its job market, twice what was expected, and pushed down the unemployment rate to 5.5%.
